Actually, Bumblebee is my favorite character, but Ratchet's up there somewhere.
I just rarely see Ratchet portrayed this way. He's usually written in his snarky, tempermental personality. I do like seeing more of his caring side towards the other Autobots.

Ahhh Bumblebee, who doesn't love Bumblebee? Gorgeous! I don't think there's a cuter mech out there, actually. He's just on another level!
I admit that I love snarky!Ratchet, but I certainly see what you mean. In Dark of the Moon he certainly had a glimmer of another side showing in his brief screentime, one that definitely was affectionate/caring.
My co-author is handling most of the Ratchet interaction though, so Ratchet-praise must be hers! But don't you worry, if you keep on following the story you'll continue to see different sides to him, he won't have many opportunities to be snarkilicious at all. C:

To be fair I wasn't aware of any history between Bumblebee/Soundwave for claimage to be claimed! OHHH literally just thought: unless he's mad about the whole Bumblebee-killed-Ravage thing? That might make a bit of sense. Starscream was just bored and lonely. Hey, who wouldn't call dibs on Bumblebee's pretty face?
Mirage was so pretty and beautiful and gahhh. ;___; We thought his abilities made him too dangerous for the Decepticons to keep about, though. :C Not that he showcased them at ALL in DotM, letdown, but oh well.
Yesss we certainly do follow mostly everyone! Much has been written, shuddershuddersquick. Sideswipe certainly doesn't have much to look forward to, though I haven't planned out much for the Wreckers yet. :C Be sure I will try to find something interesting for them, though!

Haha! Yes, Bumblebee is adorable. That's why he's my favorite. I'd like to see what happens to him and the other Autobots as well.
I do like snarky Ratchet too, but it's nice to see other sides.

Bumblebee is er, not having a very enjoyable time, let's put it that way, but no Autobot really is. Let's just say I wouldn't want to be left alone with those hideous tentacles.
I have done so. (; Unfortunately she has decided to drop out of the fic, so Ratchet will now be left to my snarky hands. D: Well, hopefully he'll be a very unsnarky Ratchet, and I will manage to sustain the quality of his character! Here's to hoping, eh.

I think so too, but Soundwave did cheerfully claim him in DotM. Perhaps Soundwave and Starscream can have a swap at some point?
Let's hope so! Although I must admit the 'screentime' between all the characters is more balanced now, he isn't really the main character, so to speak. But still he is there!

Yes, Soundwave sure did. I think Bumblebee will be traumatized enough with just Soundwave. I don't understand why Starscream would want to call dibs on Bee anyways.
