Paint Tool SAI is also a good (free) alternative if Photoshop's price is too high and you plan to use the program solely for painting/drawing (and not for instance photo comp/manipulation etc)

I have several sets in use, but the one(s) I'd recommend the most would be Deharme's sets; they have one free one which is super handy, those brushes may actually come with PS CC, but here's the link anyway  deharme.deviantart.com/art/Deh… . Also, if you're ready to spend some $$ I'd recommend getting Kyle T. Webster's sets
