I'd love to talk tarot. What's your approach?

Mine is really about simplifying and making the deck more approachable for the average person, and chibi seemed the best way to go about that.

Hey,

Chibi is indeed a very good idea as it is supposed to represent universal symbols!

I tried to stick to my own style for design and tried to balance Mystical/Magical evocations and modern political symbolism.
Which is why I think using the design shortcut with chibis is a good idea, cause mine forces me to crazy work so that it doesn't look like cheesy fantasy fan art...

That's great! I am working on my architect exam now and hope to finish it this year. Life is busy but slowing down a bit, allowing me to do some other design things and reorganize my life.

I'm glad you're getting to do some fun stuff as well as build your career.

I'm on DA very sporadically. Not many old friends are still around, which makes it much less fun, plus I'm running my own design business (www.pixelsmithdesign.com). That and my 2 year old keep me very busy!
