How about she has a nice family, but her father has to go to war, and they get the news a week later that he's been killed. Then they move from the city to a farm. On the farm, however, there's an outbreak of a disease or a fire or something, and she has to leave fast without her mother. Or maybe she's part of a travelling circus and never knew who her parents were. Or you could base her on a song?

hmm i got a slight idea :/

her family was really poor, so saskia got put into a care home and got fostered when she was really young. she was bought up with an axew family, but soon realised she couldnt evolve even though she had gotten so strong...

i dunno what else to put :/

How about... she was grieving in anger because she couldn't evolve, went absolutely nuts and electrified the house down... she was kicked out, and wandered through the forests with the youngest axew, who held sympathy for her and followed her.
Then something to do with Kit/Spectro/something...

yea, she was trying to get a poffin from a tree but a ponyta blasted it from the tree before saskia could get it xD and then it goes from there and they r now best friends ^^
