You're welcome, I enjoyed both of the pictures, mostly because the thought of those guys being hypnotized was very fun.

If I can offer a little constructive critique, and I hope you don't mind, a little more dialogue and descriptiveness would make your images better and even hotter. In general, some sort of storyline and backstory behind the mind control is a plus and makes an image more interesting. However, the guys you chose were attractive enough that I found the pictures enjoyable regardless of that. :3

Thanks, I appreciate you saying that. I do try to make things interesting. I'm still not 100% happy with the slave card layout though. I'll probably be revising it in the next day or two.

Yeah, I just do things like that. I can't bear bad grammar or clunky phraseology being attached to my name, because I pride myself on being Little Miss Snooty Artsy Intellectual "Hipster" Girl... emphasis on "little," I have the gigantically imposing stature of 4'11.

You're welcome, and making things interesting is definitely something you've done. I actually like the slave card layout, the colorful and vibrant background contrasts well with the entranced slave and can add more flavor to their portrayal. The incorporation of a spiral is also a big plus.

Yeah, I'm the same way, even though it may not come off like that right now. Being on a phone that doesn't play well with DA's mobile app means some shortcuts need to be taken. :S I love the description you gave of yourself by the way, especially the way you introduced your size into the conversation. I lol'd.

I really appreciate what you said about my work being interesting, that means a lot to a graphic designer. I especially appreciate the critique you gave. I can tell already that I'm really going to enjoy talking to you. I think the slaves need to have a floor shadow, and I am still second guessing the font choice for the role they fill. I think that'll be changed.

Your grammar is fine, don't worry. As long as someone clearly shows some effort and doesn't write like they're illiterate, I definitely don't mind typos or abbreviations done by others. I'm only critical of myself there, honestly.

Well, I'm glad you found my self-description funny. xD I just had to mention my size, if I'm using the word "little" I had to emphasize that I'm genuinely two inches above the border between littleness and actual dwarfism. Clearly, I was kicked out of the Shire and just forgot about it...

It deserves every compliment I gave it, and I'm definitely happy I provided some nice encouragement. I try to give as thorough a critique as I can. When I'm doing something I like to know exactly what I'm doing wrong or right, what's great and what can be improved on. Because of that, in critiquing others I try to have the same thoroughness.

I honestly think the font choice looks great aesthetically, the bubbly letters contrast reasonably well with the rest of the card. Thematically I also think it can suit their bubbly, empty brains. I would agree that a floor shadow could look nice though, that's a great point. ^^

Thanks. I think being able to laugh at yourself, about nearly anything you do, is important. Taking yourself too seriously is a good way to come off like an overly-serious grump with a stick up your ass and drive people away, pardon my French. Additionally, if I'm the one joking about it, it disarms people who might say it out of genuine mocking rather than playful humor.

I look forward to coming up with things to help you out. I love "a-ha" moments, I'm glad to have given you one! You're just dithering over what to do, and can't decide, and then the right answer just hits you like a lightning bolt. It's a fun experience.

That's a great point about disarming people. Sometimes I don't consider that, as genuine, lash out mocking isn't something I would really do. I don't understand what people get out of that other than it's them trying to raise their self-esteem through tearing others down. It's sad.

I couldn't agree with you more about those breakthroughs, it's like manna from heaven.

Well, often it's raising their self-esteem by trying to raise their social standing. Certain types of people in both genders consider mocking and bitchiness "cool," and in any case it's considered more socially dominant, so even if nobody wants to hang out with you if you do that (and in most cases in the adult world nobody would) most people would be worried about pissing you off. I find it messed up too, it's pointless and I wonder how people who do douchey things like that can sleep at night. >< Plus, I highly doubt the lack of other douchey people mocking them back makes up for the lack of friends once they leave high school (unless they're a frat boy/sorority girl or something, then often it's once they leave college, though I won't generalize and lump all of those groups into one category since there are different kinds of frats and sororities).

Absolutely! In my case, I always want the "a-ha!"-ness to last longer, just to bask in the feeling that I've solved everything with my amazing insight... until I realize that I just solved one tiny little thing.
