Yeah, there are many of us who photograph dolls (and figures) here on DA. :3 If you browse the photography > still life > dolls & figures category, you'll find lots of more doll photos. Although, there is a bigger community on flickr, I think (I myself am more active there as well). But it's certainly a lot of fun photographing dolls, it's kind of like having tiny little models that you can instruct freely, haha. xD Although, sometimes posing them can be a pain and then I kind of wish they could pose by themselves, lol!

But I'm really flattered if my photos have sparked an interest towards doll photography~ ^^ ♥

No, I buy them from various different companies and customise them myself (choose eyes, wigs, paint their faces and make clothes for them). :3 My BJDs are from companies such as Withdoll, Art Bimong, Bambicrony, Immortality of Soul, Soom, Dream of Doll etc... if you google the names, you can easily find their online shops. ^^

Ehh, like I said, I don't make the dolls myself. I don't have the materials nor the skill. Most BJD companies offer face painting for their dolls and also sell wigs, eyes, shoes and other accessories so you can buy everything with your doll if you want.

Well, I order them online from several different manufacturers. My BJDs are from companies such as Withdoll, Art Bimong, Bambicrony, Dollshe, Soom etc... if you google the names you can easily find the websites. (: I also have fashion dolls from a company called Azone, and those you can order from places such as Amiami, Hobby Search and Hobby Link Japan, for example.

The prices vary depending on the company, where it's located and the size of the doll (there's everything between 9~90cm). I suppose my "cheaper" dolls costed around $200~$300 while my most expensive doll costed me $900+. Generally smaller dolls cost less than the bigger dolls, but there are some Chinese companies that are more inexpensive, compared to Korean and Japanese companies.

Yeah, the resin BJDs are quite costly. xD; But with all their possibilities (since you can paint them, change their wigs, eyes etc), I think that they're well worth it. ♥

The cheapest ive I have found that came with everything is $132 that isnt one of the smaller ones...Now to actually get enough money to buy haha!

That sounds awfully cheap... where did you find such a doll? I'm afraid that might be a recast, an illegal copy. I don't encourage people to buy recasts, as I think that the artists themselves should be the ones getting the credit and money for the hard work that they put into making these dolls.

Ah, that one is only the clothing set, it doesn't include the doll. The doll's page is this: dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php…

Soom's website is a bit confusing since they only use the item codes for the clothes, wigs, shoes etc. :S
