Well, you see, it says here in my little cheat book Understanding Other Cultures for Dummies (now including vikings!) that certain cultures celebrate birfays by throwing fish at the birfday person. Now to me, that's kinda weird, but if I were a dragon, wow, that would be like the ultimate birfday party! Flying fish!

But I'm not a dragon, so how about....um....throwing cake at me! Yes, throw cake at me on my birthday! That would be great! I might even get to eat some of it.

Oh, so you throw confetti at parties? (Looks up the word confetti in the dictionary) Oh. Ohhhhhhh, I see, and the cake sits on the table. Is this where the tradition of trying to blow the cake off the table came from? I don't think that even Fishlegs could blow a cake off a table, which is a good thing since we'd probably want to eat a cake instead of dumping it on the floor, although I have seen plenty of vikings eating food off the floor, and not very clean floors either like Contraltissimo's or your place or Master Rohan's study, but the mess hall floor is like YUCK and I won't eat anything that falls on it, so it would be a terrible waste to drop a nice pretty cake on that floor. Yup.

We really must throw fish at Toothless on his birthday. He'll be so happy!
