It's better to be slow and cautious than quick and careless. I messed my most recent doll up pretty bad rushing on it - I'd just bought a new brand of paint thinner and I had a really bad (presumably allergic) reaction to it, and I started freaking out and accidentally sprayed blue on one of her legs instead of putting everything away and leaving her until I could buy the safer, more expensive stuff. 

Aw, I'm glad you like them! I'm showing some at the fair and it opens on Thursday, I'm super excited to see how I do. I'm hoping to place, although I might not - it's a really big fair, and I don't know who all I'll be up against!

You are right. I had to repair two of my finished sculptures, because I was careless... and lazy.
Broke them with a package full of heavy materials because I put it on the cupboard next to them (with a bit too much power...)
instead of putting it where it belongs...
But the two sculptures are ok now again! ^^

I wish you good luck for the fair! I think it is good that it is a big fair - so you will have much audience!

Yeah. I have a tendency to try to balance mine stupidly, and I've broken horns and feet with them falling off of spaces they really shouldn't have fit. It just leads to such silly photos that I can't help it! D: 

Ah, yeah, I can see how that would happen. I have a hard time finding room for all my materials, although the fabric is the worst. It takes up so much space!

I'm glad they repaired well. I've had some stuff break but repair good, but some stuff just doesn't seem to come back together quite right. 

I placed second in Decorative Stuffed Crafts! ^u^ (they moved my stuff to that category, I entered in dolls and in Misc...) I have never won any kind of art thing before (outside of school stuff) so I am very proud!

It is always bad if some special colored parts break apart... because it needs a lot of effort to get the repaired pieces colored right,
so no one sees that they are repaired...

I had at least once instance where I just made the break look like an intentional injury, because there was flat-out no way it was going to repair well. They're so tricky to get right...

Oh, thank you! <3 I am very proud; I am going to try to make first or maybe even Sweeps next year! I'm still not happy with my skills, but I keep working. :3
