Shallon!! Look! Look!! I was marking the final demos for the class I TA and one of the groups made nyan cat! They had the music too, but I couldn't record that with my phone since all they had were head phones! [link]

Yeah, it played music too. But I couldn't record it because they only had headphones, and not speakers. When I was marking them it turned out that their design was really bad. They used way to much memory to store the nyan cat picture. They easily could have used 1/4th as much. Then they could have had the fireworks and stuff too. Still cool to see nyan cat as a project though. The professor had no idea wtf it was. I lol'd pretty good.

No. The professor is pretty easy going with the grades. They'll get a good mark, but not a great one. I haven't made anyone cry yet. Did I tell you that I got my TA evaluations back from last semester, and apparently the students hated me.

Well these were the students I TA'd last semester. And you have to remember that we caught like half of them cheating, so maybe the results are skewed a little. But the comments were things like: I have a god complex, I'm a mean TA, I'm rude. Blah blah blah. Needless to say my feelings were hurt. The other TAs and I spent soooo many extra hours in the lab helping them because they didn't know anything, even after they super cheated.
Apparently the students like me better this semester.

Haha! I remember that! So, they don't like you because you are above them? It sounds like they are a bunch of babies. Sorry they said that but at least you don't have to deal with cheaters anymore. How is the TA job going?

Hahaha yeah, I guess they were a bunch of babies. This semester things are better. No ones cheated (yet). The students also seem to be trying harder, and they also say the like me better. Which is funny, because I'm treating them basically the same way I treated last semester students. Some of their projects are actually pretty fun to play to. I have to give them their final exam on wednesday...

I think that last semesters students are babies and they probably all talked it out one night on FB deciding that they all are going to get together and cheat. Oh and also they planned to hate you just because they needed something else to do.
This semester they all hate FB and plotting so they probably (hopefully) wont cheat. Also this means they like you more. That is my logic ^^

Hahaha Interesting theory. We'll so how things go when I get the reviews back in a month or so. I actually had to give the students their final exam last Wednesday. I was marking it yesterday. They did not do well. It made me so sads. I tried to save a good one for last, so I could go out on a high note. Turns out he wasn't so good.

No I just have a lot to do. I have to get back to my schooling, I have 2 months before Anime Expo (which just tonight I made the last pattern I need for now) Work out (ate waaayyyy too much in Cali) worry about my school finances etc.. I know some of it seems silly to worry about but I do. HAHAHA! I love that! I think I shall put that on FB now. Thanks for the laugh.
