Sooooooo looking through your GORGEOUS Ichiruki artwork I noticed you had mentioned writing a fanfic for them. I usually avoid looking up any fanfic as they usually are completely out-of-character and just ruin the incredible bond between the two to the point where it doesn't even relate to them.
However, I found all of your art beautiful and heartwarmingly true to both of them, and so decided to give it a read (this being your shorter one about their reunion) well, 20 or so minutes later after a lot of chuckles and corresponding 'd'aaaaaaws' I went to bed (being late) filled with warm fuzzies from your amazing writing. Of course the following day I raced through your other stories to find the other mentioned fanfic of the two, quickly finding 'Deathsong' and now having spent the previous few hours of my evening savoring every. last. part. of. it, then doubled-back here to write this to you.
THANK YOU, for writing these beautiful moments and sharing them with the internet world, god I can only imagine the time and effort put into these creations, which my comment here pales in comparison to :/
Well, I actually can't think of anymore to say here and now (still stupefied from sheer levels of epic) as I really could pour out an essay going over how well you put it together- the pacing, the story beneath them that tied it together, the build on their relationship, and of course your amazing language skills and syntax (sentence structure) that just made the whole thing flow smoothly and play out the story like a well-animated movie, which I know I'm going to abuse the replay button on XD
If you know of anyone else who also writes ichiruki fanfic similar to yours (though I can hardly compare any other work to yours) I'd love to know of them! Just know in future you always have my support for any of your artwork and writing, and I hope you have a great day, because you've certainly made mine! <3

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! It's been so long since I've had the time and the inspiration to write or draw for IchiRuki, but Deathsong and Anabiosis still remain some of my favorite things. I'm so glad you enjoyed them, and I am really hoping to get a chance to make something for them over my upcoming summer break. Ahhh, goodness. This is a very hard question for me to answer because I definitely won't say never, but at this point I just can't be sure. It's been so long since Rukia was in the manga in any measurable, meaningful way that I just can't find a whole lot of inspiration to write for them right now. I do keep up with the manga weekly to see what everyone's been doing, but until Rukia shows up for more than just a naked butt joke I don't know if I'll be able to come up with anything.
I know that's probably not the answer you want to hear, but I will definitely keep an eye on the manga, and if any sort of inspiration hits I'll give it a shot for sure. And thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my work. <3<3<3
