Thanks for your positive, uplifting comments. Your continued interest is appreciated. I have viewed some of your work, and I will comment using the standard critique format I teach my students. I enjoy your patient, history building way of making meaningful marks. You clearly care about communicating the primary subject of each work you do. You are taking your time to render it completely from point a (start) to point b (finish). If it were my artwork, I would take time to reach point c (undressed white compositional space). I had a similar appearance to my work when I was younger. I created a focal point and spent a long time carefully making it impressive. Aside from that, I could care less about the background and where it lived. When I started to make artwork primarily for other people, students and buyers - I had to force myself to complete those areas first. I believe your work is different from others by how readily you share ideas and collaborate visually. A wise man writing for King of the Hill once had Bobby Hill quote, "the wise man seeks not competition, for he knows to be in competition with one is to compete with all."
