just wanted to say thanks for the comments and the watching etc etc. my photography is only my hobby and since ive only been posting on here for a few days and this is the first time that really i have shared my work, i'm very proud to have had feedback such as yours. it is only increasing my motivation geometrically. thanks again.

It was after seeing that border I decided to go back and change the border on autumn river in case you thought it looked familiar.

I don't mind if it does, if the border I used works for you then go for it! It took me a while to get the border right on that one. At first, the inner border was white, but I found it to be to harsh against the image, so i used a nice grey instead, which works well.
