all of your photos are amazing, i really enjoy the southern CA beach shots. I noticed it said you were using a nikon D3200, how do you like that camera? the only reason i ask is i am considering getting one. just wanted to hear the input on someone who already owns one.

Glad you enjoy the pictures; I'm still trying to add more beach photos, but I've been super busy lately. I LOVE my Nikon. I've had it for 2yrs now and it is fantastic! To give you an idea: I "graduated" fromΒ a Canon A550 7.1mpx to the Nikon D3200 with 24.2mpx. It may have been expensive, but it was worth the price. Although the mpx is high, which requires larger sd cards, I've found the 8gb to be perfect (depending on what and how you shoot you can take 1500-2000 photos on the one card). I would suggest to buy a 2nd battery pack if you are serious about using it for photos & film; and if you can, buy the 55mm-200mm zoom lense (if you have seen my moon photos, those were shot at 200). Overall, I keep falling in love with my camera every time I use it and have no intention of buying another. Hope this helps

Yea i loved my sony 20.2mpx point and shoot it got water damage so near my birthday i took the insurance money from that cam and bought a 16.2 nikon coolpix p530 which takes some pretty awesome shots but it's not a DSLR my photo teacher is trying to persuade me into buying one. I noticed that it's on sale for $550 with 2 lenses. so it's just a matter of selling my current camera that is only 3 months old to get the D3200. Yes I love taking videos, especially at concerts so i learned the hard way to buy extra batteries. thank you for the help and input
