Unharmed? It's just too traumatized to talk about the *things* I've done to it.

1. The "indefectability" doctrine is rarely if ever used.
2. Just because you claim that the other two groups are gone, doesn't mean that gypsies still aren't around. You cannot claim "total genocide" when the group is the LARGEST minority in Europe.
3. The Pope authorized it, yes, but the people who committed the acts were German Knights who were seeking more land. The result was bloody, but it was very clearly a land grab hiding under the trappings of religion, not a religious conquest.
4. Two wrongs don't make a right, although in the case of Spain and the Mediterranean, it was not a case of conquest; rather, the Christians simply got their land BACK from the Muslims. Hell, we still have yet to retake Constantinople.
5. You are neglecting all of the good priests, popes, and scholars the church has provided. How you can shut your eyes to the 99% of good clergy when only about 1% were ever bad is beyond me.
6. I shall check again. I believe you mentioned her once.
7. It is not bullshit. It is a fact. I cannot really provide a further argument for what is already true. I might was well be making an argument that grass is green.
8. Cortes was an agent of the King of Spain. The Pope gave the king authorization to act in the new world, but the authorization never, for a moment, mandated any killing. Also missed is the fact that the Aztecs were a bloody empire that demanded ritual human sacrifice, and that the vassal subjects of the Aztec empire JOINED Cortes. In fact, had so many natives not joined Cortes, the Aztecs would not have been beaten by the Spaniards.
9. The only deluded one here is you. Maybe that is why so few people would agree with your savage attack on an institution that has held Western Civilization together for many centuries.

Posting an argument onto someone's main page is considered rude. Send it in notes.

Nah, itβs fine. What is internet if not the forum for public discussion? Iβm a champion for free speech, so nothing short of posting links to the kiddie porn will get anyone banned from my page.

Okay then. I didnβt reply to your previous messages for two reasons: 1) between school, work and MSF charity event I didnβt have time for you; 2) you werenβt talking to me, you were talking to and I wasnβt even aware of this conversation until you posted a comment on my main page. I believe HaNeNoNe has already given you a thought-out reply and I could sign my name under every word.
However there is one thing I would like to specify β I donβt care about the past. If Catholic Church was a force of good in this world I would stand by it regardless of whether or not I agree with it's doctrines. Unfortunately the crimes of this Church are so horrible that even other Catholics are outraged. The only reason secularists bring the past into the picture is because Catholic Church keeps saying that it is the main reason for the evolution of culture and morality in Europe.

It's fine, nerds2x2ever can hide or block noguy if she wants. He's just mad that people are leaving the catholic faith in droves. Must be hard seeing your childhood neurosis dying.

Youβre welcome.
Iβve noticed that a lot of humanists (rationalists? secularists? β donβt know what to call them) seem to enjoy similar style of music and literature even if it has little to do with those worldviews.

Perhaps that's why next to no one around here has my taste.
Also I think your poem his hilarious and should be put up as it's own deviation. I mean if you post another journal it'll be lost in the annals of history! (pun quite intended)

I didnβt post the limerick separately because I thought nobody reads the text-deviants. Maybe I will once I write a few more.
