You know, I thought I might have seen you a couple of times in the hall, but was usually being dragged off to do something-or-other and didn't have time to go investigate! I'm so damn happy I managed to make it this year, even though I'm still massively in debt from paying the hotel bill XD I fricken loved your skit! You make a badass Red. (The other Pokemon skit fell tragically short for me. It was like they were trying to capitalize on and recreate that magical moment from last year where the hivemind decided it was time to sing the entire Pokemon song together... except they failed hard. You guys blew 'em out of the water. Even my mom got a kick out of the skit when I showed her on Youtube! XD) Did you guys win? My group ran out on the Masq immediately after the Bleach skit o.o

Oh my god, congratulations! <3333 You guys damn well deserved it! Honestly, there were only three skits that I found good at all (although some of the walk-ons were totally fine), and they were yours, the Majora's Mask skit (I loved those girls! <33 We ran into them in the hall on the day we did our Tael and Tatl cosplay and took a group photo ^.^ Their costumes were hardcore), and the Bleach skit that wasn't even in the running for voting. And ahahaha, foot meet mouth XD I'm glad they had fun, and most of their costumes rocked (I tried so hard to battle the crowd in the hall to get pictures of that Brock o_o), I just really wasn't feeling it.
To be perfectly fair to them, though, I went into the Masq hungry, cold, and all out of good humor, because we thought we'd have time after Project Cosplay to nab food and heavier sweaters, and were instead hustled into the Room of a Million Technical Difficulties to wait for hours-- so that could have just been me projecting my mood. (We were all so cranky D: Some more so than others though. Our White Mage was shouting downright belligerent things at the staff. ._. And the Misa from Project Cosplay was miserable because she'd had to pee before her costume was even done, but she was glued into it and couldn't do anything about it until after her walk-on.) AND OH MY GOD THAT SKIT. I RAEG'D. Although afterwards I felt really, really bad for them, because the Goku was sitting a row away from us sobbing and asking, "why did I do that... why did I do that... oh my god why did I do that?"
And what was up with Tidus singing Zip-a-dee-doo-da? XDD
Omg thank you I know ;__; It was a gift from my roomies, they were tired of my whining (and trying to yoink their computers from them any time they got up to pee XD). I bought myself a ginormous monitor to celebrate. *pets crying bank account* ...This means it will be infinitely harder to be rid of me, you realize. XD <3

Yeah, you weren't the only one. Our Oak was seriously NOT feeling it. In fact, he was about as far from feeling it as humanly possible. Light and I were FINE, but UGH, honestly, even we started to feel dragged under just because everyone else was being so pissy. >_o I wanted to be like... "Dude, I stayed up all night BUSTING MY ASS to make sure everything went right. Will you at least PRETEND to be happy?!" Dx I was frustrated with everyone, too, but the staff did their best. I was just glad I was able to get up there and perform eventually. It was my first skit. DDD: ...And I won a Pokemon sleeping bag from it.
It sounds like you had it off a lot worse than I did, though. >_o Yikes. Aw, well. At least the staff gave us free water.
And dear god. This is going to sound awful, but seriously, after doing... THAT... I'm just hoping he took it as a lesson learned. That wasn't even so bad it's good. That was just... Ugh. I'm glad "Goku" didn't just trot off thinking he did the best skit ever, though. What doesn't kill him will make him stronger, and hopefully make him perform better in the future.
Also, next time, you need to get on dA and tell me when you're going to a con I'm going to, who you'll be cosplaying, and where to find ya, ya dork. <3 I felt so bad I wasn't able to say hi D: Not that I made much of a valiant effort, but fffff. XD
JEEZ though. You have the worst luck with computers of ANYONE I know. And I know a lot of people. XD It had BETTER be hard to get rid of you, because it's been YEARS. (dhsjkdhsajkhasjkdas I suck so bad at life. Will get around to posting a journal on here maybe later tonight -- or, more likely, tomorrow after I've gotten some sleep -- that explains why I went kerpoofle, but what it mostly boils down to is I've been working every day and stressing to the point of becoming a gibbering basket case over money/Christmas. I tried a bunch of times to hammer out the rest of my replies to you and it was all a lot of self-centered bitching and whining about things no one could do anything about, so I shelved it, expecting that it would be a lot sooner than now that I got my shit together x.x This is not going to continue to be a recurring theme!)
Yeah, I was a Cranky McCrankypants too and even I was like, "dude guys, give the staff a break :\" Honestly, nothing that went wrong could conceivably have been prevented by them unless they had friggen ESP, and everything they did after the fact was to try and smooth things for the congoers. I'm glad you at least had the right mindset, even if the mood around you was gloomy! It's a shame we were both sitting by such grouches. Your group was all kinds of kickassery, you deserved to soak up some good vibes. ...Do any pictures of this sleeping bag exist online? XD

That is a definite will-do in the future! It sucked that we missed each other by such a narrow margin this year. o_O I'm prolly not gonna be congoing again until the next AAC (I really wanna hit AB someday, but honestly the idea of stressing that hard about money again so soon after Christmas makes me want to weep, so this year's out unless there is some kind of major monetary windfall between now and April), but I'll letcha know in advance what I'm cosplaying! I got a badass sewing machine for Christmas, so maybe this time my costume won't be held together with hot glue :'D *skillz* I'd love if we could try to coordinate and do costumes from the same game/anime, but it'll be one of those things we'll have to wait and see about for now (mostly to see if I manage not to sew my hand to my face learning how to do this shit proper, let alone make a decent cosplay costume in the allotted time; I am dubious but hopeful).

...I couldn't figure out where on earth I knew your account name from when I saw it earlier today over at your club, and I just realized yours was some of the first Zelda-related fanart I stumbled upon when I first discovered the fandom and started looking for fanart of the Sages, all of whom fascinated me. And at the time, I think the club's former incarnation had been dead long enough that I had no clue you did KH art too. XD Small world~ (Sorry I apparently fail at comment, though. I've actually been leading a pretty boring existence XD! Work, home, try to fix computer, fail, repeat ad infinitum. The most interesting thing that happened was severely lucking out and getting to tag along with Britt's sister to AAC for a couple of days back in November! We had ghetto-rigged costumes that we were pretty much holding together with the hot glue gun we kept in the room, but it was worlds of win! ^.^

I was a gijinka Black Chocobo, in the company of a gijinka Moogle, a Malon, and a stick-in-the-mud who refused to cosplay. XD I think I may have seen you at one point! I remember passing an L on my way out of the elevator and doing a double-take because I couldn't figure out why they were so familiar, but then Britt drew my attention to the window looking down over the lobby so we could gawk at Charizard and the thought abandoned me XD *slightly short of attention span* I think I heard someone address them as "Pyro," but it could easily have been someone else, the elevator was friggen packed o.o
I am indeed, unfortunately D: This week has been positive hell. Today is the first day since the week-long Valentine's rush that I've made it home before seven-ish ;-; And most days even later than that, because the people picking us up were like "OH DID WE FORGET TO TELL YOU LOL? WE'RE GOING TO SPEND THREE HOURS MAKING PIT STOPS AT VARIOUS GROCERY AND CONVENIENCE STORES TO PICK UP STUPID SHIT NO ONE CARES ABOUT 
Think you'd have room in there for me and your con swag? XD And waahh, I would be absolutely ecstatic to finally get to meet KeaLe ^__^ The odds don't look good, though. Even if I could somehow afford to go (thinking of hoarding my tax return for it, if I don't end up having to use it on bills-- which is looking pretty likely, but I will cling to my pitiful optimism for all I'm worth!) I don't think there's any way I'd be able to buy the materials I need to finish my intended Sheik costume. I'm dying to go, and if things magically fall into place I'm gonna be dancing for joy all the way to Boston, costume or no, but realistically I think I'm going to have to plan on missing it this year and aiming for next time-- especially since April is most likely when I'm going to find out how possible my potential new no-chocolate-involved job is. So far nowhere else I've applied to has even called back (damn you recession!), and after some of the days I've had this week I'd pretty much clean toilets for $7.25/hr to not have to keep dipping strawberries-- missing AB to jump on this opportunity would be sad, but not the worst possible thing that could happen. Especially since it would eventually pay better and make it completely feasible to go in '11. (.... But the bank idea has merit too. *grabs her trusty ski-mask just in case XD*)
Not so much KH, these days. I still love the first one, and love the oodles of gay at the end of the second one, but each installment of the series seems to be on more and more crack o.o Don't get me wrong, I still adore the characters, and I'm still probably going to play the games, but where once there existed a crazed fangirlish frenzy, the feeling now is more along the lines of, ".... Meh." And OH MY FRIGGEN GAWD YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THE FANDOM BEING SCARY. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend I'm not (wasn't?) part of the crazy, or even that I'm not going to just relocate that same massive load of crazy to another unsuspecting fandom (I'M LOOKING AT YOU ZELDA), but I was more or less out of touch with it before it became the slavering beast we know it as today. Coming back to the internet to find it in this state was like having my mind raped o.o I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH RANDOM, POINTLESS FAN QUARRELING ABOUT SHIT THAT COMPLETELY DOES NOT EVEN KIND OF MATTER IN ANY WAY, NOT EVEN IN THE SHEIK GENDER DEBATES (WHICH ARE STUPID IMO BECAUSE WE CAN HAVE BOTH. WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE, GENDERSWITCH AND FANFIC TRYING TO LEGITIMIZE IT USING LOOSE CANON REFERENCES EXISTS IN EVERY FANDOM WHY ONLY GET BITCHY ABOUT THIS ONE INSTANCE? BOTH SIDES OF THAT ARGUMENT NEED TO STFU AND LEARN TO PLAY NICE TOGETHER). FANDOM IS HORRIFIC. ... On a less caps-heavy note, I didn't know you had a gf now, congrats!
We did, and it's much bigger! We're actually only really a building over from where we were before, so the same blah neighborhood, but I could go on for hours about the wonderous joys of having one's own room, and closet, and a door T_T Mostly the door T_T You don't appreciate those fuckers until they're replaced with curtains (WHICH DO NOT WORK THE SAME, LET ME TELLS YOU). And... *shifty look* I signed a nondisclosure agreement when I took the job, and I don't really know if any of my coworkers have my DA account (god I hope not), so um... Nooo. Well, I don't think it is-- but I might be a little biased because I'm all, "!!! YAY!" back XD To me it definitely feels like it's been two years in the respect that there was a great depth of missing welled up, but getting back into the swing of conversation makes it feel more like we've been talking the whole time (save for the part where I am ridiculously unused to using the computer as a means of communication these days and keep having trouble forming and finishing thoughts o.o). And definitely also the mystical, inescapable bond of geekdom, that crosses over the measly barriers of time and space and brings together what sometime seems like the unlikeliest of people, forever uniting them in their common dorky interests.
