Actually I'm new to DA, that's why I don't have more images in my gallery. For your information I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Art, so I've been doing art a lot longer than you.

I defend my original stance on the subject of your plagerism. By law, a piece of artwork is copy righted when published on line. In order for a piece to not be a violation of copyright law there needs to be a least 11 distinct changes. This is the law, not something I made up. I don't agree that you were being "original" when it clearly looks like another persons artwork.
If your instructer saw this piece would he/she agree that you were being original???
I doubt it. I will continue to report your piece "evolution man" as copyright infringment until you remove this piece permently.

i thought it up for the project genius, of course its a google image. for this PROJECT it was original. people did circles and triangles in a row of different color, mine was different. the concept of using the 9 figures and 12 letters that worked out is more than your urchin.

This wasn't about destroying art...it was about defending others artwork.
I didn't search out the image to have it removed. I actually faved the piece because I liked it so much.
I recently became a deviant because my boyfriend has been on this site for a long time...he was the one who found the original evolution man after browsing on an image search engine.
All those nasty things you said are trying to just cover up your embarassment. I actually hold a degree in fine arts, meaning I know a lot more about art than you. I was a student once too...but I never took another persons art without giving them credit. This is something you need to learn how to do before you end up in court.Your comment about the number of Deviations...I don't have that many because I joined DA this week and because 1. I'm new to DA 2. I post my artwork on other sites.

so i had to re-submit Evolution Man 
yeesh, i didnt realize my last comment would be put on my own page. i guess you win some and you lose some, and you learn a lot along the way. i hope this grace willard girl 
its kinda sad that someone as soon as they get on DA would not try to search and enjoy art, but be on the prowl trying to make others look like sinners when, in turn, made them look like bafoons. this girl looked online to see if anything was out there even slightly like my image used in Evolution Man and then try as hard as her fingers could type to get my piece off line. i took a google image and altered it entirely for my caveman/computerman silhouettes. in detail: i found the image, changed some of the outlines, added another figure, completely took away everything inside the contours of what they originally created, then handpainted each different shades of grey, cut them out, and placed them on illustration board with another element on the board as well.
as far as you can get from copying. the image was as inspiration i toyed with. i hope this girl learns a thing or two. maybe to be more optimistic, and not always try to shut someone down when they have more art to show for online besides 2 sketches like her own. but hey, if negativity is your way, then by all means, destroy as much art for people as you can. good luck in life...
