Sorry for the long absence, I was so busy with work before I left Sweden. I just now got back from Tennessee, and we have decided to get married in Sweden instead, when he visits next year. thank you so much for all the advice and links! It'll just be so much easier for us, and my family wouldn't be able to go to America (I have a big family with lots of little siblings) so there's going to be two minor ceremonies instead of one.

Its all good man - life can be busy at times. Is it his first time visiting? First time meeting the parents?

My fiancee is visiting next week for a few weeks (not long enough - and you know how bad good byes suck ) - her mother is coming too, she's going to meet my parents and all. So I'm trying to get the house all sorted Will have to shave and clean up myself

It will be, yes he was supposed to have visited this Sepbtember, but his work wouldn't grant him vacation hours. It'll have to be next year!

Yeah, but I'm not very nervous. He's a lovable guy Honestly, EVERY one he meets adores him. He's very funny and charming. I don't know, he just has a way... I'm lucky!

Yeah, goodbyes are the worst I recently wrote a blogpost on how we manage through them, smiling! Try it, it actually works. All you have to do is smile through crying and cry through smiling and smile, smile, smile! It's gonna be contagious and you know you'll see each other soon again. When are you guys getting married?
Good luck with meeting her mother! I'm sure she'll love you! May you have the time of your lives and Merry Christmas! (In Sweden we celebrate on the 24th - going over to my dad's place for some food and see my little siblings again, give them my Christmas gifts, etc.)

My fiancee will be staying at my place starting tonight - Monday we head out on a road trip Her mom is going to NYC (Maryland is somewhat boring ), to a friends place.

The teary-eyed good-byes will be on the 10th, and I get a bit sad just thinking about it
