I see a major Dali influence in some of your work. Good stuff, enjoyed browsing through it.

Mainly it's a similar use of color and the way you'll render some solid shapes as limp. Similar to Dali's sleep or melting clocks. I think it applies more to your older work. The newer stuff you seem to have gone in a different direction. Overall I like that you seem to try allot of different approaches. I'm trying to do that as well.

its funny that you brought that up. after you mentioned that, i went thru and deleted a lot of my older stuff. this whole time i've been trying to find not only a style but a way of working. looking back on my older stuff it just seems to fall short of quality. which i guess is a good thing knowing that i am improving. either way before i start to rant, thank you again for your comments and looking at my work.

Oh yeah, definitely some forward progress between what you're doing now and what you were doing then. Always good to keep the portfolio updated with only your stronger work. There was nothing wrong with the older stuff but you can tell you've begun to change styles and gotten more skilled. Honestly I'm pretty envious of what you got here. I have a ways to go yet myself. But I could go on about art all day too.

thank you. i have a suggestion for you as far as improving the quality of your work. take it however you'd like. but if you do your drawings on a colored ground as opposed to white, you will get a much better look. plus then at the list minute you can go in with white paint or colored pencil or whatever and and touches of highlight. there will be nothing as bright as those highlights because there is no white paper showing anywhere else in the drawing.

I've done some charcoal on gray watercolor paper before, but typically I'm just working on white sketch paper or whatever. I'll give it a try. Thank you.

hey, i read some of ur comments on some pic n i really found em amazing. i joined this site recently so i dunno wut exactly is goin on here or wut i can do on here. I am not a photographer or anything, I am jus interested in making analysis of da pics I like. since ur comments show ur professional on this, I would like to ask u about some of these analysis i made coz I am sure ur gonna add important notes, well that's if ur interested in this as well !!

btw, the analysis i made is mainly from the artistic point of view which shows the idea it carries, not the pics as from the photographic point of view.
