Same ol', same ol' ...completely addicted to the Fantastic Beasts game even while annoyed they're holding my content hostage. What are you spending your life on these days? Still Overwatch addicted?

What content are they holding hostage? Is it another phone app game?

And yeah, still very much stuck in Overwatch hell. 
I'm playing on both PC and PS4, I'm building 2 Overwatch Cosplays here coming up soon.
And then there's all my backlogged art I need to finish, some of which is very much Overwatch lol.
(Otherwise, I've been slacking on updating DA so much. I have a handful of copic marker/sharpie doodles I've been doing the past few days,
which actually have nothing to do with any fandom. Just pretty elf ladies lol)

Really? Wow, I thought I was bad at keeping up with new movies. I always wait for dvd/itunes releases these days, so me being about three months behind everyone else is the norm.  It was good. So good. I kinda loved it a lot. Though, to be honest, I'm sure some of that was just me being on super-withdrawal from HP-universe set movies.. 

Yes. You think I'd learn by now and not download any more games but... eh... Fantastic Beasts... >.<

Oh no, I've literally become the worst at keeping up with..
well.. everything, honestly. I went and saw Logan, but before that, I think I 
last saw Assassin's Creed. I think. :/
I also have super withdrawal from the HP-verse. I actually phase through rewatching the movies
and re-reading the books every year or two. 
I just really need to see the film.

Haha. Hey, I get it. I have a game problem myself, but it's more PC/Console than phone. 
But I started Final Fantasy XV, then bought the new Horizon Zero Dawn game, almost started that,
but decided I couldn't emotionally invest myself in 2 open world feelsy storyline games at once,
I I'm just sticking with Final Fantasy. 

And Overwatch, of course, but that's not story-oriented.
And I'm cosplaying the character McCree. The cowboy mercenary Well, a Female version of McCree, because I 
have to genderbend EVERYTHING.
I'll also be helping to make a Reaper cosplay for my partner. I tried convincing him to do Hanzo, (Which will happen),
but I also love Reaper too, and he mains Reaper when he plays, so it makes sense. 
I'd do D.Va or Widowmaker, but bodysuits are a huge nope on me.
(I will chatter endlessly about overwatch, I swear. And Cosplay. Both are just endless novels of speak. It's ridiculous)
But yeah, I just... really really dig that whole universe. 
(I'm up to 3 in-development OC's for it at this point because supernerd.)

Pff one reply a month is fiiiine. It's more than I manage to muster for some people. 
Honestly, I've just started telling people to add me on facebook if they want to catch me easier because I'm RARELY on 
DA long anymore. I should really update ;~;

Just saw Assassin's Creed. Love how they kept the improbable jumping-from-tall-buildings-and-not-going-splat element.  I got the feeling from the end of the film that there are going to be sequels -- which I guess is the norm these days; leaving the door open just in case it does well at the box office.. I wouldn't be mad at more. It was entertaining and Fassbender is not hard to look at for a few hours at a time.

Ahh. Is that the new Final Fantasy? I need to get that. But I think I need to update my console to do it. Soo...blegh. Soon, hopefully. Have you got any FF OCs?

I don't know if there will be sequels. I don't know a lot of people who liked the movie.
I mean, I did. It had it's MAJOR issues, but for the most part, it was pretty okay. 
The costumes and Animus scenes made it worth it, and I wish there had been more of those.
I hope there's sequels, I certainly wouldn't hate that. 
And yeah, I'm not mad at Fassbender. Also certainly made the slower parts a bit more tolerable

Yeah, it's the latest one. And OH. MY. GODS.
It hurt me. Like It's been a while since I've gotten that emotional over a game.
I don't have any FF OC's as of yet, but there are some little idea fluffs floating around after playing 15
that I may try to build on. Because I have yet two more favorite video game men to add to my fictional harem lmfao.

I will! Most of my cosplay stuff stays on Instagram, but when I start altering things/building and painting, I'll be trying to compile 
photos and putting them here. 
I know. I'm slacking. I mean I'm sure there will end up being PLENTY more, but i'm juggling the fleshing out of three at the moment.
(And getting sidetracked by FF things, and now I've restarted playing Witcher again, so like... I'll be revisiting my Elf girl from Witcher too)

Really? Oh. Um. ~scuffs shoe. Maybe because I didn't play the games and just took it at face value as a popcorn action movie? I know when fans of the __(insert book/game/etc)__ here go to see a movie there are always more heightened expectations. The costumes and the Animus scenes were ace though, agreed.

Oh. Well.  Maybe I'll hold off on playing it - or just 'tube it. I have a new obsession that just..idek, came out of nowhere.  I'm not sure I can handle two at once.

Ah, I forgot I hadn't followed you on Instagram with the new/old account. But yeah, I hear you on the slacking thing. :/ I have a bunch of dolls that literally just need ears and they're done and..... Meh. Soon. ...Probably. Hopefully.. Maybe? IDK. I'm spending all my time binge watching Hawaii Five-0 from the beginning so... the dolls should have ears in about seven seasons... 

Yeah. I've finally realized that ignoring (and running from) bullies just doesn't really work. Why do adults tell you that when you're a kid? It sticks. I only played a couple of them, and I usually go in at face value with this stuff anyway.
I mostly just wish they'd have put more Animus scenes in the film. 
I didn't have expectations so much as I just truly hoped that the costumes were good, and those exceeded my hopes. 

It's like... I wasn't expecting to get attached to it. 
And then oops I slipped and fell into another obsession. It's unending, I swear.
Though I'm still pretty firmly lodged in Overwatch. There's a new event coming out today that's giving us more skins
(Which are the costumes), and a few of them that are being released made me squeal like the excited little fangirl I am.
So that drew me right back to that level of hell haha.

Ahaha, it's okay. 
Aw, yeah I've had the ONE plush I'm working on sitting around for a few months now. I feel so bad.
They'll get ears eventually, I'm sure. lol. In due time! You can't rush excellence! 

Yeah no, they're the worst. sometimes just standing your ground is best.

Yeah, those Animus scenes were quite beautiful and really well handled, jumping between the times and overlapping them the way they did.  That, the costumes and pretty Fassbender were the best bits of the film. The faux love story thing that was going on? Bleh. 

Anything that can elicit a squeal of excitement is a good thing in my book.  

I am starting to believe my brain cycles through fictional obsessions so my focus is on something other than my own factual miserableness, aha. Which.. ngl, works, so I'm going with it.

Heh, if I have a plush sitting around for more than a couple of months it goes to live in the WIP Box of Doom (...and generally, never returns from exile). I am trying to bribe myself; "if you give Daryl ears, you can watch an episode of H50".. I shall report back on the effectiveness of this technique. Not really expecting much but....

Uh yeah, I feel like the romance was just..haphazardly thrown in there? 
It didn't really add anything to the story, although the female assassin was super 
pretty, so It didn't bug me. It was just... unnecessary.

I have that same brain cycle problem The more I try to adult and focus on 
real like stuff, the more my brain is like "Yeah but what about this fictional world
where you don't have to worry about -anything-".
I complete more quests/tasks in games than I do in my own life. It's probably not great,
but uh. I'm also going to go with it?

I use the same tactic for games. "You can go level up if you sketch/sew/do SOMETHING for an hour" lol.
It's er... effective enough? Sometimes.
