Okay, so, after homsestuck ends
I imagine that, like, about half the world will have to take pause and
kind of awkwardly crawl out of their self-made caves
blinking into this new unknown sun
called Life After Homestuck
and there will be a week or two when no one knows what to do with themselves now that they aren't waiting for an update
and then people will have to move on and this is when the actual pondering begins

So I'm a person that always has to be in a fandom, although my fandoms are usually really STRONG but also quite SHORT?? But, see, before Homestuck I was always into anime and manga and I don't think it was BECAUSE of Homestuck, but somewhere in the midst of Homestuck I got much more into webcomics because I realized how truly AWFUL most anime fandoms are? So after Homestuck I just have webcomics in my life and
and I mean webcomics don't really have really large fandoms with a utopia of people in their community??
After Homestuck is it just going to be

Y'know, I've thought about this before. Not because of fandoms, per say, (What with my being afraid of people and all), but like with the things I like in general.

Like, for an example that isn't homestuck, there's no way awkward zombie's going to continue for long after Katie's done with college and she gets her electrical engineering on, but I kinda sorta rely on the AZ forums (in a lurking spree bordering on voyeuristic)for, like everything. Where would I be without the melancholy of Spoony, or the funny pictures of Angus and Exeres, or the comedy stylings of Trygve?

It's... creepy to think about things you know and trust ending.

I never even really thought about how she would stop writing it...
I always just thought of Homestuck because there are only about, what, two acts left? And so many of my internet friends I've met through HS and what will happen to us I mean what if they START LIKING ANIME I DON'T LIKE OH NOOOOOOOOOO?
But yeah now that you mention it all of these things are in immediate threat of ending
I mean, HiNaBN is already kind of... over-ish? I mean, she hasn't updated and shows little intent to since February? And even Extra Ordinary is updating less often than it used to? And so is Octopus Pie?
And there will always be other, new webcomics but
will they live up to their ancestors?
Will we be able to confide in them the same way?
