Yeah, I don't know why girls are weird about that stuff. wasn't too sure what to do about propulsion, was thinking of turning rotor around, but i'm sure a jet engine or something would look better anyway, so should do fine without the chop blades. Don't suppose you might have any barrel/enginey thing lying around burning a hole in your bits collection... (I have some green stuff from my 1 attempt at scuplting, but not much in the way of large mechanical things)

I have the perfect thing.
Its a piece of lego which was a plane jet engine, so perfect, if you want it?

Yeah i'll try to remember to take some pics as i'm doing it. May be a while before I can get making it, as i've just been asked to do a series of paintings, so really should to get on with them (need money....) but i'll send you picks of progress as and when.

Oh thank you. Every time you say something like that, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside I'm trying very hard to better myself, there is no point in staying at the same level in art if you can progress.
I've been working on my fantasy piece, it's so far from done that I haven't even submitted a WIP. How's yours?

Well I've been playing around with small scale drawings to get a feel for what i want to do and i might chance to a simpler 1 person thing to get some practice in, then possibly do the slightly more ambitious one once i've got my eye back in (haven't touched a paint brush in 4 months...).

well i'll be excited to see the wip when you've decided on a subject!

Yeah it's a really good pic, it has a kind of nice shock value. surprise value maybe. you're getting some real impact into your pictures, I also like the more subtle stuff you seem to be moving towards in your last for photos.

Cool. I hope no-one's annoyed about re-posting. I had some guy busting me about how bad my photos were a while back, and as i needed to photograph some of my work for something else i thought i'd re-do it all and get it up here.

I'm really enjoying your latest photos, subtle macabre. It's really interesting seeing your work progress, you're moving so fast!
