It is when it's forced, horribly written and has a very obvious heavy fisted agenda to it e.g most new marvel comics. people don't want to see RiRi Williams they want to see Tony stark (the well written funny character with kick ass beard or mustache we all have come to know and love) and that is kinda reflected in the recent sales for marvel comics (they VERY... VERY bad).

First off i don't have a beard i have a moustache and a nice one at that i'm also not fat i'm very skinny, and i'm not complaining that media is diversified i have no problem with diversity as long as it's done right and in this day and age that kind of rare e.g miles morales.
Also if your implying i'm white i'm not, i am of color and tbh most of these "diverse" characters that were supposed to cater to "minorities" like mine suck like hell and are written so poorly, i don't need to have a super hero that is the same color as me to relate to them heck my favourite character in the marvel universe is white and a villain ( Dr doom) and i'm not. Idc what race they are nobody should ,what should matter is their character an thats what most people at marvel nowadays do not see, it's not about race it never should be. All of my friends agree that marvel comics now suck like hell both male and female and white and of color.
