To a very dear friend of mine who is no longer with us anymore. Today is her funeral, and because I am unable to attend, this is all I can give to you. The fact that I am unable to meet you for the very last time and did not spend more time with you when I had the chance to will be one of my greatest regrets in my life.

Nevertheless, I still want to tell you many things and thank you. Thank you for always trying to cheer me up when I was stressed. Thank you for always smiling. Thank you for always saying hi to me. Thank you for making me feel special. Thank you for brightening up my last year in high school. Thank you for becoming my friend. I will really miss you. I know these words sound really hollow and empty, but I'm really glad I was able to meet you. Please remember me in the afterlife, I will always remember you too. I will treasure the memories of all the fun times we had. I hope you are at peace now. I hope you're doing well on the other side. Thank you for all you have done for me, and thank you for appearing in my life.

As for the drawing itself, I was trying to express my friend's innocent kindness. That's why she is an angel and holding lilies. Lilies for innocence, and angel for kindness. I also tried to draw in a different style than usual to express her cute innocence, I think I drew her head nicely (in fact, that's probably the best head I have ever drawn), but the arms and wings I'm not very sure if I'm 100% satisfied... And since I didn't bring any art supplies with me to post secondary, I attempted colouring digitally for the very first time on Photoshop. I really hope the overall result is OK, as this is the last thing I can give her...
