Description

Built by Luxor Industries, the Thanatos subclass light transport cruiser was a relatively
easy and quick ship to build. Like the rest of its brothers, the Fenix V serial number (488)
was the eighteenth ship of its class, deployed two weeks after the start of the clone wars.

The Thanatos subclass was a mass-produced variant, being a smaller but more versatile and
inexpensive model of the Corinthian-class heavy armored cruiser. In technical terms, these
ships had great speed and medium-level weapons, implementing the latest missile defense and
attack.
Its spacious hangars were capable of accommodating fighters, transport gunships, light tanks,
and walkers. By concentrating their weapons at other strategic sites, they allowed them to
provide cover for landing craft.

A total of 837 units were built until the end of the war and 113 of them were given to the
