Description
Poor Shadi! But her line of work is pretty dangerous, and sometimes her acrobatic skills are not good enough to save her from projectiles... luckily it went just through her arm and not somewhere else, and hopefully she will recover fully.Of course Nasir is the one who has to deal with the consequences... poor guy, he's probably about to feint.
Sorry I'm not very active these months, balancing university with art is much harder than I thought, and most days I don't even check my account. Still, I hope you liked this sketch. ^^

Nasir's doing pretty well really, keeping the patient from panicking and making the injury worse is a good first step!
Now he just needs to go quietly vomit someplace else, have some cold water, and he'll be good to go! XD

Poor Shadi, she is one of those persons that need a hug. I can imagine that she's sad for something deeper than that painful arrow. BTW the movements of her paws are cute.

Omg, I'm not sure if this is heart-breaking or hilarious. On the one hand, I can clearly see that Shadi is in pain, her face says that much and the wound itself doesn't look very nice... but on the other hand, Nasir freaking out over Shadi's injury is more than enough to crack me up.
Seriously speaking, though, Shadi is really lucky to have a friend like Nasir!

Ouch! Luckily the fact Shadi can move all her fingers means no serious muscle or nerve damage.
Your attention to detail is great, the expressions alone tell the story.

Step 1: Remove fletching (feathers) from the arrow
Step 2: Carefully push the arrow through the arm until it fully exits
Step 3: Clean and dress wound
Step 4: Dress the arm if any bones are broken
Optional: Keep souvenir arrow

Yep, that's what they are going to do! Probably call a medic to do it, though, I doubt Nasir wants to operate...

Dude. This is like, a lucky hit if it passed between the arm bones. Just clip one side and... Slide it out, and that's a easy fix, considering the alternative. D: )
But yea man, don't worry about being busy, I love it, and hope your university work goes well.Β

Hopefully, Shadi got the point. Β
But yikes! Shadi should REALLY see a professional about that, because arrow wounds can be nasty! I don't know who I feel more bad for. Her or Nasir. Β

Goddamnit Tek! XD
They will most likely call a medic for this, I doubt Nasir has the guts to operate himself.

And what makes it even worse, the note on the arrow was just a chain letter.
"Shoot this message at ten other people for luck. If you don't, something terrible will happen... besides an arrow in you."

Clip and remove slowly.
Clean and bandage.
Rest that arm for a while.

An occupational hazard.
Sheβll get better treatment than the guy in the movie Kung Fu Hustle. That friend of his tries to throw a knife. The blade comes off the handle and sticks him in the shoulder. His friend tries to help by pulling it out. He yelps crying donβt do that! He friend says sorry then sticks it back in.
This friend while excited will treat her as best he can.

ya -Β just snap it of and pull it through..... Unless it's in my arm then cut it really slow and ever so gently ease it out - not that fast, carefull...!
Excellent art - I remember how tough uni was, it's got to be a difficult balance, much though I love to see your work Uni is one chance only, traditionally artists starve - stay well fed. Β
Just miss the odd meal and send us more of this.Β

Yes, it's SO time consuming. I barely have time for my own hobbies.

Hello:
Β Jazz316 has the good idea about how to heal Shadi's arm... let's hope Nasi knows that though . But poor Shadi! It surely has to be very painful, as her pose attest.
Β Keep it up wuth the university!
