Description Part Three:
Chapter two;  I've never met a talking meteor before…

The silence was blissful and ignorant. They had no idea of each other's presence and both felt completely at ease in the apathetic suspension that spaced what was their past and the few words that were about to change their worlds.
She rolled over playfully to get a different view of the strange object that fell from the clouds as if to fall from heaven.

"You sure are strange looking!"

She froze. The comfortable silence that she had assumed had been broken by obviously another person.  Irritated at the surprise and yet the shire typicality that she should have not ignored. What was it that made her forget not to trust a first impression of a planet? Was it the green? Was it the immediate comfort? Was it the hypnotic saunter of the clouds?

She stood and turned around with an obviously irritated posture. There was this odd girl lying in the grass wearing nothing but bright blue rain boots.  Bright blond hair fell in a wet, angry tangled mess in the grass in front of her. She was sprawled out awkwardly on her back staring at her as if a reversed, upside down angle might reveal some hidden mystery about her.

"Excuse me," she said with a raised chin. "That is not necessary for you to point out." The condescension in her tone was strong enough to taste in the frigid, humid air.

In one fluid, quick movement, the girl in the blue boots rolled over and crouched on the balls of her dainty feet.

She was caught completely off guard by the meteor talking back to her.

"Excuse me!" she said completely embarrassed, "Excuse me for my rudeness! I have never met a talking meteor before!"

She examined the orb for movement or any sign of life: breathing, growth, warmth, tension. Nothing seemed to move. The dark glass seemed to taunt her with an attitude only a talking inanimate object can portray. Or, was she just simply going crazy?

Inside the orb and out of sight, she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms; impatient with the ignorance of this blue-booted crouching girl. She then realized that it was rude to stare at someone who wasn't wearing anything and looked down at her feet. The lack of eye contact put a damper on the once confident pose she held in defense. She sighed heavily.

"I am not a talking meteor." Impatiens was dripping from her words." I am a human, you just can't see me; excuse me for asking, but why are you not wearing anything?"

Holding her low stance, she glanced down at herself.

"Hum, well" I don't actually know" said she not at all uncomfortable. "That is very interesting though! Why don't you come out so I can see you?"

"That would not be at all reasonable." She said shortly. "Here I have an extra shirt."

Through the glass, she threw a black and white striped shirt long enough to look like a dress without having to open the glass at all. The shirt flopped uselessly on the ground. The girl stood and walked quickly towards the orb ignoring the shirt completely.

"Curious!" she whispered still walking closer; too close.

She reached out to touch the glass hoping that her hand would easily fall through like the shirt did. Her hand remained safely on the outside of the glass. Her smile that burned with curiosity dimmed and flipped into a frown.

She fell back into the wall of the glass, astounded at the obnoxious and hasty touch this girl had managed without a second thought. Her heart raced, her breath caught and she scrambled to stand up again.

~Get away from me.~ "Please put your shirt on."

She scrambled into the shirt putting her head through the arm hole, examining it, pondering different ways to wear it. Eventually, after a painfully complex explanation from the talking meteor, she got it right and plopped back down on the ground. The meteor laughed at the struggle this girl had to do something so simple and common. She stared down at the. She had an undeniable beauty about her.
