Vista Explorer 1.3 Alpha 2Updated Version of Vista Web 1.1 Beta 3.
Includes new streamlined Windows Media Player 11 look and alpha transparency.
This is a fully functional, standalone web browser.
Known bugs:
Internet Options, Favorites, and Up buttons don't function correctly.
Will fix in next release...(Beta 1?)

Yes, it seems that any screen resolution over 1280 or so by xxx will skew the buttons.
If my hard drive containing the source hadn't been wiped, I would have fixed that by now.

No, you can run it in Vista, just make sure it's run in "Compatibility Mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

This program is based on the generic Internet Explorer script.
If you have a security suite on your computer, (ie Zonealarm Security Suite, Norton Internet Security),
Then this program is just as safe as surfing in Internet Explorer.
The security suites will "protect" you in the same way.
