I created this piece as a means to express a very personal part of myself, that to do so with words could not have done it justice. I've chosen to neglect a real title for the piece, since the imagery says what words never could. It's a concept that I've been planning for over a year, and rather than explaining its meaning, I'd like you to take from it your own interpretation.

I have to say that it had a much different feeling from the start, but a slight alteration took it down a more appropiate road... due to this I feel it has more of the emotion I had origianly planned for than if I had left it as I had first thought of doing it. My deepest thanks goes to my best friend, who has helped to capture the true eccence of what I wanted to convey.

In the style and techniques I've used in this piece I feel I've found a new direction. Somewhat different from the work I've done in the past, however I'm really pleased with how this turned out and look forward to doing more like it in the future. I feel I've come closer to doing what I've always wanted to do.
