Description I took this picture in Gainesville, FL during an SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) autocross. This type of event allows drivers to get timed laps, one at a time, through a course with cones (slaloms, gates, etc.). The rear wheel of this car is raised off of the ground due to the weight of the vehicle shifting off of the left rear corner and going to the front right corner. This is normal for many cars taking sharp turns at high speed with a decent amount of tire grip. For front wheel drive cars especially, it is beneficial in getting the rear of the car to "rotate" and allow it to point into the turn. This car is an Acura RSX Type S.
