Another combatant in the open bracket at the Colosseum. This ones a pally. Anyway, here's some info on him.

was a Redeemer, ranked among the highest orders of Holy Knights, charged with the sacred task of reclaiming souls lost to the forces of Vorthos. Mortal souls are captured to be bent and twisted to empower the demons of Vorthos' armies. As a Redeemer, takes the souls of demons he defeats into his own in order to bring them back to the light, but this takes a terrible toll on his physical form. Redeemers, almost without exception, consume themselves in their zealous persuit of their charge.

was nearing complete burn out. Beleaguered and with his strength failing him, he used the souls he had accumulated to fuel his waning power. The desperate act destroys him and lands him in N'verwer. His body is broken, but his will survives. The Redeemer now seeks only to redeem himself.

Also, for purposes of backstory, he needs a good name, but in N'verwer he's just the Redeemer.
