Description
In Roman mythology, Auster is the god of the southern wind and associated with hot, dry winds and feared to destroy crops. He's also my Fire/Storm Corruptor in City of Villains.Auster's soul/essence was trapped away within one of the temples dedicated to the wind gods, when one day a young man unknowingly discovered the vessel containing Auster's essence and accidentally released it. Auster's essence took over the young man, and was essentially reborn...and is now out to seek vengeance for what was done to him.
And so the pic above sort of illustrates this.

Really cool. I like the fire effects. I think the contrast could be better by making the shadows and mid-tones a bit darker.

I've gotten feedback from people for other pieces where the pic is too dark and it obscures things overall...so I'm trying to find the balance between getting the pic how I like, but not so that is unreadable.

Nahh, I think it works rather well, really. If it was disunited it would just look like a great mess and this pic has real compositional integrity.
