Just a idea my friend came up with . She took some of the other Sonic characters and gave them names based around celestial bodies and stuff. For example, Shadow was Sir Eclipse. I can't recall what she came with for the others.

Thank you! Yeah, we chose Sirius for him because of the Dog Star and his being a canine (if I remember right, all the protagonists' names had a star/celestial body theme). I like your pun though, LOL. I'm honestly not wild about the sabatons either, but she sent me these images that she wanted me to reference for them and that's what they looked like. For the record I totally agree with you.

I was so bad with anatomy back then. XD It's supposed to be the way he's holding the sword.

Thanks for clarifying, looks great either way. I realize it's always rather hard to look at old drawings with an objective eye, we all compare them to the latest stuff we've done.
For example as soon as I finish something like the KE illustrations I always try to put it up here quickly (so, although they don't take very long to draw, you can see how I draw now).
With something like my comic though, coloring takes a long time, so I actually drew what I submit 6 months ago, and that's all it takes to start seeing everything that's "wrong" with it.
 I suppose the good thing about looking back at our old stuff is seeing how we've improved!

Aw shucks, that's very kind of you say. I know what you mean. We're our own worst critics. Though personally I think I'd rather see someone be critical of their work then a person who thinks they walk on water. With all the amazing details in your art, I can't say I'm surprise it takes you six months to color a comic page. But that's all very true and a great point. This is why I always tell people to keep at drawing and not to get discouraged. The more you practice, the better you get!

Referencing poses and things helps a bunch too xD
