Aside from consumable products and treatments, we're constantly looking at new and interesting products we can make. One of the things we've been looking into are wearable items or objects that can help to trigger a change in someone. Dr. Penny had been looking into this already, and we'd had some success with items such as the glove that was made for Ms. Lexi. As soon as we realised we could achieve this goal, we began rapidly considering what products we could offer and what would appeal. We've come to realise that ideas and themes that relate to pop culture are highly requested, and so we looked into famous objects and items from films that we could relate to this procedure. At the same time we had a potential client contact us asking for a something that related a change from an old nineties movie. The idea was to help her boost her confidence and make her more outgoing, and the change that takes place in the movie really appealed to her. We took her request into consideration, and realised this would be the perfect situation with which to test the transformative object concept further.

Dr. Penny along with Dr. Summers worked on a Mask similar to the one that appeared in the movie specified by the client, one that would both cause the rather odd physical changes, but also the mental ones, without putting the client at risk. The physical changes were rather easy to replicate, but the mental ones were a lot more risky. We intentionally toned down the effects, to ensure the client would remain in control of herself. The last thing we wanted to do was create a super villain. Once the mask was ready, Ms. Mia was called in for testing. The mask worked surprisingly well, causing subtle changes in Ms. Mia's body, and more extreme changes in the facial region, as well as boosting her confidence levels severely. It seems to have worked rather well, but we've insisted we monitor her for potential safety reasons for a little while before releasing her. She should be able to wear and remove the mask whenever she desires, hopefully without side effects.
