# 10 3853 Light Gray Window 1 x 4 x 3 US $8.07
This pice can be found in classic space in Blue and White, it was featured in sets upto 2009 and can be bought by only a cent in white color. However, it was used only once in the famous 5571 Giant Truck. Making it a rarity.

# 9 30208 Light Bluish Gray Cylinder Hemisphere 4 x 4 Multifaceted US $9.35
The pieace is used widely in several space related sets until it was discontinued in 2009. But it´s the Light bluish Gray one the most expensive since you need two of them for the 2002 10030 Imperial Destroyer.

# 8 3435c01 Light Bluish Gray Door 1 x 4 x 5 Right with Trans-Clear Glass US $11.99
This discontinued piece can be found in white color at just 27 cents. It´s common in over a dozen town sets and used upto 2007. The piece can be found in 5 different sets, but what makes this piece so wanted is its appeareance in the famous 10182 Cafe Corner, one of the most expensive Lego sets.

# 7 4424 Light Bluish Gray Container, Barrel Half Large US $13.72
The second (only founded in a large Star Wars set) piece. If you want this piece in yellow, it costs 22 cents, but if you want to build the 2002 10030 Imperial Destroyer, you need 4 of these.

# 6 6155 Red Door 1 x 4 x 4 Lift US $16.67
You need it in white? No problem, you can find it at 3 cents each, but if you want to build the 5571 Giant Truck, you will need one of these red pieces.

# 5 3063 Sand Green Brick, Round Corner 2 x 2 Macaroni with Stud Notch US $18.00
Why such common piece is in this list? You can find it in almost every color for 1 cent. However the 2000 set, 3450 Statue of Liberty requires 4 of these in Sand green for the torch.

Surprise, surprise! I made a small correction making this post more interesting since the piece number don´t match anymore the image attachment.

# 4 (Number 3 in the image) 30342 Light Gray Rock Arctic Globe, Bottom US $36.00
Yet another 2002 10030 Imperial Destroyer exclusive piece. This time is the Light Gray version of the set which has the most expensive color. You can find this piece in just five cents in trans light blue color.

# 3 (Number 2 in the image) 30562 Black Cylinder Quarter 4 x 4 x 6 US $31.99
It was a big shock for me finding this fairly common piece in such high position. You can find it as low as 2 cents in White color, but the black color version is a different story. It can be found in only two 2001 sets: the 6776 Ogel Control Center and the 10018 Darth Maul - UCS. Nevertheless, the Dart Maul bust requires 4 of these to buid this set and the Ogel Control Center only has one of these.

# 2 (Number 1 in the image) 2573 Light Bluish Gray Wheel Hard Plastic Giant (71mm D. x 47mm) US $42.00 The last of the four 2002 10030 Imperial Destroyer exclusive pieces in this list. This wheels are the same as the ones in the Mega Core Magnetizer set, but in Light Bluish Gray color. You need 3 of these for the set, meaning you need at least to spend 126 dollars in just these pieces. Compare this to spend 28 cents is an orange version of this piece.

Now for the most expensive Lego piece from this list: # 4  3761 Light Gray Window 1 x 6 x 5 US $25.00
Discontinued in 1985 and being sold as cheap as 5 censts in brown color, This piece can be found only in two special Maersk Line Container Truck from 1980 and 1985 respectibly, available only at the LEGO Shops or at LEGO Stores.
At the time I created this text, there were just 3 of these pieces. The less expensive one was selling in 25 dollars, but had one clip broken. This piece has clips to hold two windows shutters, but since it´s broken, the piece can´t be considered a complete piece, therefore the 48.00 dollar selling piece is the cheapest of the bunch and therefore, the most expensive common piece I found.
