Holy shit; you just summarized the entire piece.
Yes, what I was trying to do was contrast from serene to hostile, and since a song typically goes from left to right (as does anything else in America), I did it that way.
The colors aren't exactly what I wanted but I got distracted.. What I wanted was a purple'ish red, because it symbolized a kind of in between "danger zone". It's not red/hostile, but it's not safe. It's a rather mystical color, to be honest, because it's not purely purple (which stands for magic, usually) but it's not purely red.
I dunno, I think I'm kinda ranting again.

I used one brush, and that was all. It was a brush I made a long time ago, and I blurred the hell out of it.
The live version of Pushit is incredibly serene (I would have posted those lyrics, but I was short on time), and at the time of making this, I was pissed off. A lot of images come to my head when thinking about the song, although, most involve a photograph, and so I went with my other idea; the color theme of the song. the left symbolizes the beginning part of the song, which is the passive part, and as the song progresses (to the right) it gets more hostile...
I was bored. and tired. But the song is good.
