I woke up. I had just logged onto the computer to check the usual things. It was my routine to get ready for the day and then get on the computer as soon as I could. I needed to talk to him. There was something that was on the back of my mind. There was a lot lately. I was thinking about someone. I was thinking about Arctic. He and I had started talking a couple months ago. It really wasn’t that much time, but yet it seemed like we had been talking with each other for much longer. It’s hard to explain, but that’s how it felt. I had known of him and he knew of me, but we had never really chatted with each other until a few months ago where we exchanged some info to start talking and getting to know each other better. Since then we’ve become good friends. Something he told me once was “Some people are just meant to be friends.” I definitely agree with that, and felt that was true for us. At first it was tricky talking with him mainly because of the time difference between us, but eventually we got it to work. It’s been really amazing talking with him, though lately he’s been going through some difficult things. Sadly those things have been taking a toll on him, and I can really tell just by reading what he tells me and what he posts on his journals. It’s sad to see him like this. Really it’s sad to see any of your friends or loved ones go through pain. Every morning I’d wake up hoping to check online and see that things had gotten better for him. As I was turning on my computer and logging on I felt in my mind that nothing had changed. Despite that I held onto my hope that things had somehow turned around and that he was feeling better. I didn’t know why, but I felt that something was going to be different. Things would turn around for him; I knew they would. I had just clicked to check his profile when the thought came to me: something was about to change.

Well it's finally here and this is where it begins! My gift comic made for and in honor of for being the awesome influence and friend he's been to me. I've wanted to do this comic since before I left for my mission, and now has been the only time that I've gotten to finally do it.
This whole comic sequence is based off of a dream that I had in 2011. It was one of the most memorable dreams that I've ever experienced, and I'll always remember it. It's supposed to be real life me in the comic. Above is a little narrative that I put together to go with the comic. Please read it; it really helps with understanding the comic, my dream, my thoughts, etc. I hope you all will enjoy this comic! I've put a lot of thought, time, and effort into this whole thing and I hope that it shows. Enjoy~
