Description
A Visual Guide to ProjectComment ,For a full, literary guide to ProjectComment , please click here: ProjectComment InformationProjectComment has been an active group since 2009 to give you the constructive comments you deserve!
We have many projects that encourage our awesome members to give comments and get comments. These projects involve workshops, features, chat events, contests and, more importantly, systems that rely on interchange, inclusion and interaction.
To both give and get comments is no easy task, but, with the many projects that we have here, we hope that you find something that works best for you. If not, why not make a suggestion by noting us?
Additionally, if you have any questions or anything else at all, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Our Values
Our awesome admins and members give comments and get comments with the following values in mind:
Interchange
…to restore balance – comment for comment, positive and negative, give and take.
Inclusion
…to accept all
Where you start and what you do in ProjectComment is entirely up to you!
We don't ask our members to comment 24/7. We understand that life is busy, especially when it takes time, effort and more to give and get constructive comments.
If you're not sure where to start or what to do, follow the chart above!

A lot of people just want to submit to our gallery for constructive comments. If you'd like to do that, please make a 200-word-minimum comment on a deviation in our gallery, and link us to the deviation you commented on so we know!

Damn, that’s a lot of rules. Can I just summit and give a bunch of comments, hoping for ones in return because I’m kinda just wanting more critiques and that’s pretty much it.

Does a critique count as a comment in some manner?

This is certainly an interesting chart, but it looks like it explains things pretty well. I fully support ways for artists to reach out to other artists so there's a form of inclusion especially in the DA community. Normally I write long comments myself but I'll keep this one short by saying I'll see about spreading the word, thank you for your time

Umm sorry but it's a lot to soak in...
So I need to comment on somebody else's artwork, using a projectcomment emoticon, then do I have to link the comment as well, or is it a (do only one of those things) kind of project?
And if I do it correctly, am I going to get a comment on my artwork without having to submit, or do I have to submit..?
(Sorry about the bad grammar)

This is really useful, it really makes me revalue what I should and shouldn't say on this site.
Though I think I've got a couple of people to excuse.

Hi if I may ask, just to clarify. So you have commented to some of the deviant's work here and then I submit my work, so for me to get my work accepted, I'd have to at least comment to a lot more deviations per week? Then my works will be accepted? I'm sorry, I think I know how it works but I'm not very sure if I'm right about it

3wyl In reply to JupiterGrace [2018-01-18 11:58:41 +0000 UTC]
If you'd like to submit to our gallery for comments, it's 1-for-1.
So, if you would like to give one comment, and get one comment, of 6-7 lines (200 words minimum), please give one comment on a piece in the Give & Get 1, 6-7 Lines folder .
If you would like to give two comments, and get two comments, of 7+ lines (300 words minimum), please give one comment each on two separate pieces in the Give & Get 2, 7+ Lines folders .
Here are all of our folders: Give & Get 1 Comment, 6-7 Lines
Give & Get 1 Comment, 7+ Lines
Give & Get 2 Comments, 6-7 Lines
Give & Get 2 Comments, 7+ Lines

Hmmm, I'm not one for long comments. I love the idea of supporting, and though I am a writer, I mainly enjoy getting and giving reasonably bite-sized comments when it comes to art. I don't really mind if they're not all positive, I just want to be noticed, and this group reached out to me.

That's understandable. We hope you can become noticed through the group - there are many, many different ways of being so.

I do the llama stuff and it can be checked, how is this stuff kept in check a bit. Do you need any scripts like Tamperrrrr Monkey?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
3wyl In reply to Tiriaq [2017-11-22 23:30:38 +0000 UTC]
I do not understand what you mean by how this stuff is kept in check?
Mostly everything is done manually, i.e. you link us to the deviation you commented on, if you'd like to get a comment on your work.
We are working with a developer who can code something more robotic/automatic, but that's going to take time.

Tiriaq In reply to 3wyl [2017-11-22 23:40:22 +0000 UTC]
Checking to see if there was any, with llamas for instance it's easy to say if you're in good standing or not for instance by looking at the ratio you've given and received. I wondered if you were doing something similar on some of the parts. I saw that picture it looked pretty complicated
I probably can not get critique for not being a member anymore.
