aw wow! that photograph is amazing, i can really imagine how she must feel--this is captured very nicely! i recently came back from a japan trip in dec 06, and thought the meiji shrine is fantastic. the tour went on an empty day, i wish a lot more people were there-or an event.
i miss japan, my face would be like that now.. *sigh*

I am glad that you enjoyed your trip to Japan. It is a magnificent place to explore and we spent many days exploring meiji shrine. so many beautiful events go on there.
If you have a chance to visit again, November seemed to be a popular time for weddings at meiji. Although, we saw many during a trip to the shrine in July. Its a nice place to watch weddings because you are able to see the wedding party being paraded around the square from bldg to bldg. Many photo ops.
Also, November is the time that Shichi-go-san takes place and that is when I took this picture.
Kyoto is a lovely place too. You are able to see lots of geisha if you go to gion and visit many famous temples.
Up in northern Japan, Sapporo is a beautiful town. We went during the Snow Festival during Feb. It was cold, but a lot of fun.
And, finally, down south, seems to be slower paced, but just as beautiful with the warm weather, beaches and botanical gardens.

I do love taking pictures of kids too!!! As you can see in my gallery. Now I'm busy taking photo's of flowers. Take them inside, because there aren't many flowers outside anymore. Hope you'll add more pictures from now on!

These kids are so beautiful especially when they are all dressed up. They are paraded around for hours on that time of year to the different areas in the temple. Fun for the tourist to watch. Great photo ops.
