And to be honest, I'm not too sure when it comes to offend character and fan character shipping. But I do see a possible ship between Knuckle or the monkey dude  (forgot his name) from the Archie Comics.

Even though I usually age characters up on a ship. But I think Knuckle is around 16 to 18 and Monkey Khan (the Archie character) is unknown/ doesn't say.

Yeah, I suppose so. There's not much canon characters who are over 20.
So I just usually make some characters age up more.

I guess. In my opinion tho, I do think that fan characters shipping with Shadow is a bit overrated.

But hay, if you wanna ship your character with Shadow. Then go for it mate. ^^
