I still have trouble believing this turn of events. As Celestia lies on the ground, her mane and tail stop their 'flow', and stop sparkling.The colours of Celestia's tail were different to every other scene of her I have, so I changed the colours of her tail to match the other scenes. I'm still not sure about the overall shape of the tail; I may change it later.
Celestia's right wing (on the ground) is unfurled in the source.
The crown's and necklace's details are approximated based on earlier Celestia vectors because there was not sufficient detail.
The crown has been hidden from the PNG export because it looked unusual sitting over by the side, out of context. It is present in the SVG file.

That was shocking! WHY DID CELESTIA HAVE TO LOSE TO AN EVIL CREATURE THAT FEEDS OF OTHER PONIES LOVE. What makes me so livid is that people have pointed out that this was the only time in the series that the Princess took on the villain. She declares to the Changeling Queen that revealing herself was a foolish thing to do, says that now she can protect all of Equestria from her evil and this was the payoff?! Imagine that, a being of immense goodness quickly defeated by a love-sucking succubus in front of her loving friends and subjects? How humiliating! I hope Chrysalis re-emerges in season three so Celestia can have a re-match. And bring Luna in for back-up.

I find it really difficult to believe anything could overpower Celestia or Luna. And yeah, fighting off a swarm of Changelings, and then getting captured...

She only failed cause that Queen had ohers power + during the fight the Queen was doubting her own power at first.
Still I did feel sorry for Celestia,she's awsome.

Considering Chrysalis got her powers from Shining's love for Cadance and was able to defeat Celestia from doing so, I guess that shows just how much Shining cared for Cadance.
The whole scene was pretty confronting for a children's show.

I fell Celestia pride was hurt more than Celestia herself, to faill so fast in front of her nr. 1 student without even giving any badass fighting scene.
No wonder she alwais send others to deal with problems when she stay in the back.

Yes, but it was a 1 hit, I mean it, 1 hit.
In game alicorn would have a boss or final boss status, with tons of hp, you would expect it to take a punch and stand up right after explosions and more epic attacks.
I quess bying princess in a peacefull country sure made Celestia soft.

Yes, but thats diferent.
Elements of Harmony and this love shield final attack were plot devices, somethink like ultimate item what is like 1 shot final blast to beat up the bad guy.
Many final bosses and villans went down because of that when they were at the pic of they powers, mostly in 1 hit.
Celestia, Luna, Chrystalis, Discord, those are actualy diferent, they are beying with ultimate powers, those kind are usually very durable and powerfull, they can not use 1 hit ultimate blast, but instead you should expect that they will have an ultimate battle.
For example: Mane 6 are normal ponnys, NMM or Discord or Chrystalis, Celestia and Luna, would crush tham with easy since they have huge power and they would resist alot of they attacks, but mane 6 can use elements what can KO in 1 hit even the most powerfull byings.
But when 2 powerfull byings clash, they usually have a long and epic battle.
That is why Celestia going down in 1 hit is dissapointing, it was like crash of 2 titans and no epic battle in the end you hoped for.

in my headcannon horns are extremely sensitive. one bad shot will cause severe damage, perhaps with crippling pain.

Yeah, and it also could explain why the time travel spell can only be used once: it must be a spell that instantly overheats the caster's horn if they try to cast the spell twice. Like, barely not melting the horn overheat.
