Description Edit: I finally found a name for them: I.S.A.A.C. , short for Intergalactic Satellite
for Advanced Contact

So, I made another Steamworld fan character, who is currently unnamed (Feel free to suggest names. And, they're held together by magnets, which is why their limbs are disconnected). Also, they're holding the hat that Chop Sue has, a.k.a. Cowbot Bob

Their backstory is that they were created by human scientists to document whether intelligent life existed on other planets, and if so, to establish a peaceful relation with and learn about them, but before they were sent to space, human civilization collapsed, and they stayed in a lab for hundreds of years, inactive.
After Vectron's first defeat, the lab was collapsed, and after the Earth was destroyed, it was destroyed along with it, leaving only the spaceship they were in.
Many years later, some cowbots settled on the land on top of the ruins of the lab, and in establishing a moisture farm, they came across them. Not knowing what to do, they re-buried them, until one day, a ringmaster showed up, asking if the cowbots had anything odd or peculiar, since he needed more attractions for his sideshow, and if they did, they would be compensated generously for their donation. The cowbots showed the ringmaster where they found the spaceship, and they hauled it to the ringmaster's ship, where he gave them several thousands of gallons of water in return.
At the circus, the new "attraction" became very popular, but it also got the attention of the Royalists, so it had to be hidden when the circus traveled through Royalist territory. That all changed after the Red Queen was assassinated. It left the Royalists in chaos, and allowed the circus to bring out its star attraction freely. One day, during the middle of a show celebrating Captain Piper Faraday and her crew after the defeat of Vectron, the ringmaster pressed a button on the ship too hard, which, to the surprise of everyone, opened it, revealing a strange bot. They activated, but in doing so, they terrified everyone, due to their resemblance to Vectron. Some brave individuals attempted to subdue them, but failed, and joined everyone else in fleeing the circus. Afterwards, the news of their activation reached Piper, she decided to investigate, because if one of Vectron’s bots escaped, then Vectron might still be alive.
Upon arriving at the circus grounds, the crew was greeted by them. Highly suspicious, Piper asked who they were, and what they were doing there. They answered that their name was I.S.A.A.C, and that they don’t know what they are doing there, only that they need to learn as much as they can. Puzzled, but relieved that the strange bot wasn’t a part of Vectron’s hivemind, she then asked if they had any way of traveling, to which they responded only by walking. She offered them a ride on her ship, in exchange for helping with chores like cleaning and organizing. They accepted, and are currently living in the Déjà vu.

(This took so long to type. Sorry that this is really long, but they have a lot of backstory, and, I would really appreciate constructive criticism on it, since I’m bad at writing)

Since they were discovered, there name could be made up on the spot or an abbreviation of there model name. I'm assuming they dont have a gender preference? a model name could be something like  Sentient Intelligent Life Research Experimental ( SILRE ) if youre a fan of weird abbreviations

Or they could be called Maggie because magnets

or steve

I really like the model name idea! Once I come up with something, I’ll edit the description with their name.
