Description

NATURAL SELECTION: def. The process that according to Darwinism, brings about the evolution of new species of animals and plants. Darwin noted that the size of any population tends to remain constant despite the fact that more offspring are produced than are needed to maintain it. He also saw that variations existed between individuals of the population and concluded that disease, competition, and other forces acting on the population eliminated those individuals less well adapted to their environment. The survivors would pass on any inheritable advantageous characteristics to their offspringand in time the composition of the population would change in adaptation to a changing environment. Over a long period of time this process could give rise to organisms so different from the original population that a new species are formed.

DESCRIPTION:

This was originally done for a double spread in our school's yearbook but I reformatted it to be viewable on internet. The people portrayed here are all sadomasochistic students of the International Baccaleaurate sect. The pictures show the true essence of the IB starting from day 1 to day-1 before the final exams (in about two months ). Some of the pictures required a bit of manipulation which was done partly by myself (first line ) and by ~dogabone (5th line), and a lot needed recoloring due to the changes in light.

This is only half the size of the original but it is much more viewable on a screen this way... However I might cut the image into strips to show the detail later on
