Hi guys! Here's the second part of PROJECT INK: a video series that shows how I go
about inking and shading the 'multiliner sketches' i do. It's a 4 part video series:
--part 1 shows the tools I use and the exercises to help get started;
--part 2 shows the 3 different "moods" of inking that I deal with when inking my drawings namely MESSY, SPACIOUS AND NEAT;
--part 3 shows the lineart stage- after my pencil sketch is laid down, depending on the abovementioned mood, how I ink the lines.
--finally part 4 shows the shading stage, and how I use multiliners / pens to shade hair and cloth etc.

This is not intended to be a tutorial at all, but hope you get something from this series!

FAQ

Q) Is this really INKING?
A) Yeah and nope. Its the way I do stuff, and since its majorly called 'inks' and I use multiliners which are ink based, I call it that way.

Q) How long do you take to ink/shade with ink?
A) Depends on how detailed I want the final result to be. Since i filmed this whole thing in one sitting, I took less time, way lesser time than I normally take.

Q) Why'd you do typeface inking instead of inking the drawing??
A) Working with letters is something I do every once in a while as a warm up, and with letters you can practice your strokes better since there is no 'correct' way of drawing them..

Q) Why you no upload tutorial videos?
A) I am not really good at teaching, and my recording equipment is never with me when I need it to be. Also, i take it that there are way better tutorials for anything if you search. GIYF.

The final drawing was based off an EPIC Hinata cosplay which I found on google images. Please excuse the facial proportions, as I've had to arrange some extreme conditions, like sitting akwardly and placing the sketchpad on a stool, to draw this all through the video.
