Togo and Fox casually racing in the morning Gotta get back to Nome before their owners find out they snuck out again!

"Come on! Are you a wolf or a puppy?" Togo teased as he slid past his sister and took the lead again.
Fox struggled to keep up. "I'm a wolf!" Fox yelled trying to encourage herself and put more speed in her step again. Every day they snuck out in the mountains and every day they raced to outrun the sun. Both of them got really good at that part, however Fox just couldn't seem to ever outrun Togo.
That frustrated the female husky quite a bit, because it was she who wanted to get into the sled team that held a competition for new teammates.
Not Togo. The wild wanderer prefered to roam the streets of Nome and the forest, sometimes looking for wolves, sometimes for the polar bears. He didn't care much for anything other than food and lone adventures, as he himself put it, he was always out to find his wild roots.
Not that he ever really spoke to a real wolf, the closest he gets is when he's with Balto, and catches a glimpse of them watching the boat.
Fox was glad when Togo agreed to race her for training, god knows their other siblings are always so busy with their own activities, even Saba, and Fox lives in the same house as Saba. It wasn't hard to guess that the all so important thing Saba was doing was her beauty sleep while Fox tried her hardest to become the best sledge dog.
"Fox! You're not gonna make it in time if you put all your energy into speed now! Slow down!" Togo called at Fox who was suddenly ahead of her brother, but she didn't hear him anymore.
She was fast as wind and speedy as the fastest eagle. "Wohoo!" she howled happily and let her feet dig into the snow, sliding down the steep hill like Togo a few moments ago. She jumped over a small chasm and ran to the now visible Nome before her.
Too late she realized she should've listened to what Togo was saying. Her feet hurt and her breaths got painfully sharp. "No no no-" she felt herself getting slower and slower until: "On your left!"
"Come on!" Togo whizzed past her and gave into a hearty laugh as he once again emerged victorious.
