Great detail on the guyβs armor as it gives him a truly ferocious appearance. His pose and wicked gaze only adds to this as he wields a mighty sword, ready to cleave anyone who dare gets near. I think what really impresses me the most is the choice of canvas you used. Not only does it emphasis the subject, but when I look at this piece I can just imagine this warrior in the midst of a fiery inferno. The color of the canvas and the way the background is smudged and faded really fits well with that idea. β¦But then again, I guess a swamp on fire would be kind of odd, if not rare. Still a good though.
The only thing that makes me frown is your title, because I KNOW you can come up with something better than that. βSwamp battleβ would be a step better, or you could even call it βThe swamp king/warrior/knight (whatever his character is)β - just SOMETHING other than the obvious. Not that the title is super important, but it couldnβt help to be better.

and a swamp on fire isn't so absurd. You just have to add oil to the whole forest-on-fire scheme,and voila. fire on muddy water.FIRE.uhhuhuhuhuh.

*Nods* True. I was thinking maybe a nearby boat was set ablaze in the midst of battle, but with what you just said, you can even say that a nearby boat(s) carrying oil drums was set ablaze, thus causing the swampy inferno. β¦Or it was just some crazed lunatic with nothing better to do.
But yeah, fire is good. *Slowly nods with a deranged look on his face*
