This piece is brilliant. First off, the textures are amazing. The stone has a different treatment from the leather which has a different treatment from the metal. The opacity of the wings is stark-raving mad! The pose is wonderful, right down to the natural uptilt of her left foot as she bounces her heel against the ledge. The flow of the hair in the updraft seals the deal. And don't even get me started on the awesomeness of the cityscape in the background. Without a doubt an A-list piece of work. Stellar!

a little more subtlety on the face would give a better conclusion.
most notably around the mouth.

Thanks for your comment To be honest, the face has been tricky to manage when I discovered the pen I used wasn't thin enough... so I tried to limit the damage ;)

Not every thing has to be ink. There are literally 4b pencils that can be dark enough to add the subtlety needed.
How ever, have you considered a brush?
You should of course keep a wide variety of tools at your disposal. the right tool for the right job.
