I think at the end you should have at least showed what it looked like in the original size.
I agree with an above person as well. Showing the purple emote would be awesome. But terribly time consuming in itself unless you animated making it.
Like showing a video of you making it...
Great job, though. You did great by showing all the steps.

The purple one? You mean the little one at the end?

I know, that is why I said it would be way time consuming.
Rofl, but it would be awesome. Either way, I still think this one is awesome.
Oh, and I advertised you in my recent deviation.

Very nicely done, but I can't use it. I only have gimp and a trial version of CS.

Why don't you just use Imageready? (Doesn't it come with CS? Even the trial version?) It's the same basic steps with little details changed.

I have no idea. ; I can't figure CS out at all, that's why I use Gimp instead.

Really? I could never figure out Gimp. If you check your C: drive under Adobe Photoshop CS, there might be a shortcut to Imageready.
That's how I do mine, using Imageready I mean. [End Shameless Advertisement] If that doesn't work, then I don't know.

Okay, Thanks. ^^

Very nicely made. I'll read over the text later (since I already know how that happens) and see if there's anything you need to be more clear on or anything. I a lot of the stuff you do I don't, for example, you set the canvas size immediatly. I always set mine to 50x50, then trim or fit the canvas after the finished product. You should really upload this to Emoti-CON.

Same with me on the canvas size, for I never know how large of an emote my idea will mutate to. Most of this stuff I never do, it's just for the purposes of the tutorial.

Exactly the same with my tutorial. I didn't want to bore everyone with shading each part of the emote step by step, so I put the gradient on

I went the extra boring mile, in that case.

I have an emote saved in .psd, and I just open it and start a new project with it.

yeah, I chose .psd 'cause it saves layers

Oh shnap, it's cool. But, I use Photoshop and Image ready, so I can't use it.

You can. Just modify the steps a bit. I just did it in Photoshop and it looked fine.

Nope, I'm experienced enough to do all this in... 4 steps.
But thanks.
