Alright. I think it's about time that I create something useful.
A lot of people have contacted me with notes, comments, etc. asking if I had a tutorial or if I could teach them.
So, here's a tutorial.
That is what I do when making an emote...step by step.
I use Adobe Photoshop, but you could probably do this in more graphical design applications.
It probably only takes 2-3 minutes for me...but the tutorial took a couple hours to put together.
Hopefully you guys will get some use out of this.

just a question:
why did you use the polygon lasso instead of the magic wand wouldnt it be easier with the wand
(i hope its called magic wand in the english version i have the german version you see

Thank you for this easy to understand tutorial, I made my first emoticon with it here SiamesePlease and I use PS Premiere Elements 6 ( do not have the CS one).

oh damn I thought there was some amazing trick to it! But it's very simple and self-explanatory, this is how I would of done it too.. damn lol... now I have to figure out how to do a more complex one xDDD
