To say nothing of that skimpy outfit or the MAKEUP.Β I cringeΒ every time I see anything with her hideous mug on it because it reminds me too much of child pageantry.Β *shudder*

Skimpy refers to lack of clothing... I don't think that's the right word.
but yes, I too cringe at the site of her face on toys. I never made the connection to children pageantry but you're probably right. I may have to see actual episodes before I confirm and I am not doing that any time soon.

Like even those of us past the grade school age bracket aren't bombarded enough with subliminal messages about how perfect your figure should be. It's enough to make you bulimic.
