Description
Done back in 1996. I was a big fan of The Crow and I'm proud to say I still am. That book was influenced me a great deal. Thank you James O'Barr!Related content

Best pose and scenery ever! Definitely looks like it was influenced by the Crow comic which I also love so much.

Thank you. I saw your page and see the potential of a great penciler. If I may, suggest a few things. Feel free to ask me questions about penciling. Though I'm no "big time" artist, I'll help when I can and if I can. THanks
1. Do not stop drawing
2. Use life as a reference
3. Study anatomy (Leonardo Da Vinci's works are my study guide)
4. Learn lighting and composition. (see Albrecht Durer's work)
5. Stay cool, my friend!

Gotta be like O'Barr on only using Da Vinci's works, which is a good idea. I usually use realistic anatomy with a SMALL amount of anime but mostly using my own style which makes my characters seem tall and skinny cause they are.

That's your style, man! And no one can take that away from you. Keep drawing!

Me, too! I always thought he was one of the most unique character creations ever! It was kind of a bummer when the actor who represented him died suddenly
. But I suppose the fans are ready for a remake, don't you think?!
This looks brilliant! I like how you gave us a hint of his humanity One rarely sees a dark, creepy character enjoying a lounge in a park bench! I like the idea!

That was the look I was going for. A little hint of mortality from an avenging zombie. Thanks!

I was like 2 when this came out, so I just read it. And wow, it's amazing. Love the drawing. Very nice shading, and awesome details.
